I’ve only had lamb chops and thought they were very good. Cooked rare and tender.

I often make it over flame. Marinade in honey, Dijon , rosemary and olive oil.
It’s a nice treat.

Sounds good. I do love a gyro, and I got the best gyro shop in Atlanta on my daily rotation of lunch stops.

We used to eat quite a bit but with the last two years with 60 lbs. feeders going for $3 per lbs. live weight we are shipping those and grinding up the older ewes for ground meat, not so bad either in my opinion.

except for a nice MLT , mutton lettuce and tomato , you know when the mutton is nice and lean. and the tomatoes are ripe.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I like lamb, but a lot does depend on the butchering and prep. Most people treat it like beef and end up overcooking it. The dish looks great!

Those are probably made with goat, which is way better than lamb in my opinion, and well, I am always right. smile
