Have you had shots in your back to see if that helps?

2025 hasn't been my easiest , thus far.
Went to the ER for what I initially thought was an abdominal muscle strain . Except, I'd never had a muscle strain with a fever. Thought that was odd . So off to the ER we went.

Diverticulitis that had developed an abscess . Pain was intense and never seemed to abate . Surgeon went to drain it, and it seemed to only make it angrier. Two days later, back into surgery to remove the damaged section of colon . That was my birthday present. A colostomy bag. I called it my "Pride Purse" for its humbling properties .

Just had the area sewn together , no more bag.

Most humbling part was when I went to grab a new bag and "wafer" to change out, I noticed the size read "Adult". That implied these come in other sizes . Like "infant" and various pediatric sizes. That made me kinda shut up and color.

The other part that was humbling was knowing that before this procedure became widespread, we just died.

Big stroke at 45 , a colostomy for my 51st Birthday. Lol Middle-aged is awesome !

Honor a Soldier. Be the kind of American worth fighting for.

This should cheer her up a bit. A little spotted skunk action who doesn’t like baby skunks.

Went to church with man that lived to be 102 I believe. His response when someone would say good to see you Mr. Smith, he would always respond, "better to be seen than viewed".

My dad would always say, "There aint no shame in getting old but it sure is inconvenient"

I couldn't do anything with my left arm for 2 weeks. Went to orthopedics Wednesday. Doc said I had a pinched nerve in my neck. Gave me pedisone and today I have no pain in neck, back or shoulders. Good stuff.

I had colon cancer about six years ago. Removed a portion of my colon, but no bag. Also had kidney cancer at the same time. Lost a kidney. Then a hernia where the surgery was. Got 14" of kevlar in my gut now.

Can't keep my bowels working regularly, but the cancer is gone and the inconvenience is worth it.

Wishing you a great outcome.
