SpellNC9 OP trapper S Joined: Jan 2021 NC	I’ve got a really nice skunk I’m tanning right now to taxidermy. His white stripes are more yellow than white. Is there a way I can whiten them ? Last edited by SpellNC9; 05/30/25 07:27 PM.

wissmiss trapper W Joined: Jan 2007 north Idaho	Will probably depend if the yellowing is staining or genetics. I would be careful trying to lighten it. Might not have the effect you were hoping for.
