It’s what’s for dinner. My first time using a pressure cooker on turkey, it worked really well. 10 psi for 90 minutes and the meat was falling-off-the-bones tender. I’m thinking I could’ve had it in there for only 60 minutes. My assistant chef and trap line partner shredding meat. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/05/full-272-259312-img_3341.jpeg) All done. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/05/full-272-259313-img_3343.jpeg) It’s for our regular Sunday family gathering tomorrow, but my granddaughter and I exercised our chefs’ privilege and had some for lunch today. It got pretty good. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/05/full-272-259314-img_3350.jpeg)

Y’all got a different definition of bbq than me lol Look away cousin, look away. It’s pulled turkey with BBQ sauce. Still looks really good! I’d eat it.
Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

A customer gave me two of them a while back bfflobo.
This is only the second time I’ve used it. The first time was to pressure cook a bunch of squirrel, and it worked really well for them too
I’ve had no issues with odd tastes from either of mine.
Eh...wot?

And the shredded meat is mixed with onions, celery, garlic, apple cider vinegar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, brown sugar, butter, salt, and pepper. everything is simmered for about an hour and it’s served on a bun with BBQ sauce.

Question? We have an INSTANT POT, neat cooker but the food tastes and smells like silicon rubber. Stopped using it. Tried everything we could think of to clean and wear the smell out. Have you had this problem? Canner or skull cooker now I guess. Have you tried a new gasket?

Oh yeah! Looks good. Didn’t want that Texan having a stroke or something. I like to smoke mine and make smoked turkey noodle soup. We freeze a mess of it. But, how you made it is good too. Great with the legs and thigh meat.

Yeah, it’s actually not a barbecue, I don’t know why we call it that, but we always have.
Sorry Savell. LOL

I prefer the drumsticks and thigh meat, juicier and more flavor than the breast. And no problem at all getting them tender with the pressure cooker.

Lugnut, you’re a great Grandpa! Your Grandkids are going to have a pile of memories with you! Thanks JP! The duck races were more fun but I guess this one is getting a little too old for that silliness. LOL
