Where do you guys go when not on Tman? Is the lynxlair kaput?

It’s my experienced opinion that forums, specifically trapping forums in this case, are governed by a clic of “those who say it to the greatest magnitude”. Now if as a member of a forum like that and you’re reason for being there coincides with the clic and you genuflect at appropriate times, you’re golden! If you are an opinionated individual that feels a need to share experiences and observations that may conflict with “those who say it to the greatest magnitude” well, your stay may be short unless you learn to swallow!. If you get my drift!

You are mostly correct. But, I only been on a couple others. TMan is the better site.

Though there is a guy (that is a moderator on here) that I asked (years ago) how many beaver traps he set/ran average daily to maintain the high daily catch he stated/bragged about. He never responded to my question.

The Canadian trappers forum. Much less traffic on there but a small group that I really got to know and more Canadian content. Some of you are there too. There’s a lot of lurkers on there, and trappers that just never post but visit the site. I met one a couple years ago and he got chased away by the trappers that have the “my way or the highway” type. I believe that’s been corrected, but trappers are just a stubborn bunch in general.
The owner passed away a couple years ago and the site really tanked after that. Me and Just Learning bought the place and we’re lucky that he’s a frigging IT expert, some of that running a site stuff is way over my head. Also lucky to have some great new sponsors to help out.

That does sound like a douchbag question accusing me of lying, so likely I did ignore it if I ever even saw it. I don't read every post on here.

I'm fond of www.iowatrapperstalk.com myself. I modeled it after the older version of trapperman where there wasn't 20 different forums. Folks seem to get along there very well without a bunch of political BS. It's a small forum compared to this one but people seem to like it. The banned list is very short.

Fair enough. Probably why I don't remember it. I thought it must of been me, since this thread was about other forums and I'm the only moderator here who has one that I'm aware of. My mistake.
