Not without a purpose aka killing stuff for landowners etc....I don't any property so all of my trapping is on private ground.

Absolutely no reason why you can’t catch coyotes in the summer! Sure, there's a baby bunny behind every bush so hunting food for the adults and pups is top priority but living is relatively easy. I’ve never trapped a coyote out of season but I tested lures & baits spring & summer under cameras and can say there are two things that need to be addressed. #1 is make sure you are right on top of them! #2, make sure if you use an attractant, that it makes them, forces them to want to work your set. Neither is rocket science if you are observant!

Correct Mr.Fales I have a couple properties to trap that is only accessible from the 1st of March for about 2 weeks and then at the end of April to.about the first of September. So the vast majority of my trapping my is basically summertime.I learned from the past couple.years that the month of May here seems to be productive for me . I have found that food is the biggest attractant at this time due to the adults out hunting for food for the den .Yes I have to do a fair amounts of riding to find sign but when I do it is usually productive.

One of my favorite early summer testing videos. If you look close at the start of the video, you’ll see I’ve identified the scent at each set with a red circle. https://youtu.be/PJ7hvaJ4pEQ?si=H8MFBdO6nLXmPfnC

This video was made in 2019 about the same time I discovered the 2019 batch of “white label” Pros Choice wasn’t worth crap but the 2018 vintage Pros Choice with a yellow label was still golden!! LOL
Trust but always verify!!!!!
