Since they make you have a dry livewell now to pull out, I just bring a cooler of ice and bleed them as soon as I take them out of the net. I have to say, there is no blood in the meat and even the 24" fish was excellent tasting/texture. They sure seem to stay a lot fresher than letting them ride around and die in the livewell.
