With all my issues, it's not easy to keep loading my pickup. I bought this old car trailer and fixed it up. It's 7,000 weight so it should be able to handle the load.

Here's it is all rusty right after I bought it.





I did a little welding, a spend a week with the grinder. Painted it black.






I replaced everything. New lights, new wiring and new tires. I did keep the brakes, though. I used treated lumber for the deck.






I put a box on it. It holds the battery and other gear. I but a plug in the front so I can plug it in easily.





I put sides on. They are 3 feet high. I also built it so that the sides can be taken off by taking off eight bolts in case I want to use it for a car or something. This is going to hold tons of slab wood. It's sitting at the saw mill now.

Looks heavy ...and overkill ..... just how I like it

You did a beautiful job on your trailer. You can see you put a lot of skilled work in it. It came out vey well. I hope and suspect it will work great for you.

I have a gun. I used tractor paint. It only took about half a gallon. I expected to use more but it covered well.

That turned out very nice.
