Yet to see any hoppers this year while out hunting with the cold, wet and cloudy more days then not. Might be some of the problems we ran into when turkey hunting. Been putting the heat on at night and A/C on in the afternoons. Ticks and mosquitoes just became serious last week on a couple warm days.

Havent seen any hoppers around here yet. Ticks are ridiculous this year. Went to take down some bee swarm traps, drove side by side within 3 feet of each of the traps. Only took enough time to pull 2 screws holding them to the tree and toss it in the bed. So in a total of 18 feet of walking I ended up with 9 ticks and my brother had 7. And I even sprayed myself with 30% deet from the waist down. All but one were just above the tops of my socks.

We are heading to the NTA Western and have been exploring along the way, seeing lots of Mormon crickets , literally roads just crawling with them.
