First thing I purchased for my grandson when he was born.

I have owned many 22lr rifles in the last 60 years. The most accurate one ever is my most recent purchase. It is CZ Model 457 heavy varmint barrel rifle. It shoots one ragged hole at 50 yards. That is with CCI Mini Mags varmint hollow point at 1260fps.

That is a handy looking little lightweight rifle, I may need to get one of those to leave on the boat, synthetic stock and can easily paint the barrel and action if it is not already a cerokote type finish, not much to go wrong.

CZ gets my vote.

CZ- bought one a while back, I put a 6x24x50 vortex on it. Warne rings. It’s a nice gun shoots great. It is the varmint model with match grade barrel. Way more gun than I thought it would be. Bought it for NRL shoots.

I bought a CZ 457 Lux a few years ago. It carries like a centerfire but half the weight, and it looks real nice. I'd absolutely buy it again.

Love my Rosie single combo even though I've never have put the shotgun barrel on I've killed a chit ton of squirrels with the .22 using 22 shorts. I gave $105.00 out the door brand new I have a 4 power BSA Scope that has been flawless. It was pretty inexpensive.
