I guess so. I can't believe they can smell foam 8 feet up in the air and behind closed windows. I just assumed they were smelling my "swamp butt" from sitting on the chair 8 hours a day.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Or remove after deer season. We don't have a bear issue here. We have much worse. SQUIRRELS The will eat anything. So, the day after the season ends. I remove everything, including my ladder, burlap, shooting rail. If its not screwed to the stand or tree, it's removed until the next season.

When our son's were in diapers, we had a bear come in and knock our garbage can over and haul a large Hefty plastic bag about 75 yards into the woods. The entire contents of bag was scattered about with t-bone steak scraps and chicken scraps untouched. The only thing consumed was the butt end of about 10 soiled diapers. Perhaps the bear baiters should add used diapers to their feed!

Or use fart spray when in the stand. They should come right in. As always, check your state laws if legal to use.

They like digging up spilled heating oil, chewing on most anything plastic like jerry jugs, and inflatable boats. I think the 3-5 year olds are the most prone to bad behavior, juvenile delinquents, of sorts. They like to chew up bar oil jugs too. They’ll bite into the gas jug once, but I think mixed gas is spicier than they like lol. But they love bar oil for some reason, I’ve had many sets of jugs tore up in my strip

I pack in a few sets of gas/oil jugs so they’re strategically located in a unit, that way I never have to go too far when the saw runs dry. So they find those and tear them up, if I was holding the jugs, I’d kick the bear in the face with a corked boot and send them on their way

… hunt that thing down and whack it upside the head with an axe handle I am in luck! I found an axe handle. It was even built for this purpose. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/06/full-2100-260034-img_3630.jpg) Heck of an axe handle there sir.
