I don't ever remember eating much at all when I was a child, during school summer break. we would do some chores, sneak away the first chance we got and been on the move all day. Every now and then there would be a supper or holiday gathering. I just thought that's the way it was supposed be. I can't believe how we did so much with so little fuel. ….. a can of snuff is about all we carried to the creek lol

I get free lunches at work sometimes. I take em and say thank you. …. Heard you say you were a female earlier…. Is that true ? … if so how did you get into trapping? … only asking cause I find it interesting

As a young kid, my parents were broke, flat broke yet my Mother managed to get out of bed before 6 am each day to make sure we had breakfast before we got on the bus at 7:00 am and had packed us a lunch. I call it like I see it, a lot of parents today are just too lazy to get up and pack the kids a lunchpail.
I have nothing clever to put here.

I was thinking about this also I can’t remember what I ate as a kid besides McDs and candy. LOL A bowl a sugar smacks would take you clear into dinner and maybe even til breakfast the following morning on chicken liver night. lol

Now I cant make it to 8am without 600 calories. 2 fried eggs with 4 strips of bacon piled on a toasted bagel at 6 am and I am good for the day in the summer. I eat twice a day in the winter out of boredom more than anything.

I just eat whatever my wife puts in my lunchbox. It’s free every day. Breakfast, lunch and a snack.
I just mention what I want on Sunday, and and it magically shows up in the fridge every day for me to take in the morning each day.
Said on Friday I need more coffee for work, and it magically showed up in my bag to take to work.
It’s deer hunting, not deer passing.
If I have a tag, I’m ready to drag.

Well, I usually get up at 4, give me some credit..... Was going to say, some of us get up early enough to be having second breakfast by 8 am. Or ready for a nap!

I drink a cup or two of coffee.... then switch to white monsters until I get off work, then either buy or cook supper.

I make breakfast sandwiches/wraps that I keep in the freezer for Pete to eat when I am at work. There's also lunchmeat if he wants to fix himself a sandwich, but he usually doesn't.
