Yes it can be.
On a more practical side, I recently wrote two technical papers, and rewrote them a couple of times. I thought I'm a fairly good writer. A friend suggested that I run them through Chat GPT. I process involves a few sets of questions, once BPT knows it's a technical or professional paper, and the subject, it proceeds to rewrite the paper. It was absolutely amazing, I can't figure out how it grasps the subject matter, it must glean through thousands of similar documents.

And no one sees a problem with that?

Went to a HS graduation this year. Im real sure one of the speeches was AI guessing a few others were too. Kind of meaningless to listen to when you know or suspect it's AI

Not unless a person has a problem with proof-readers and grammer checkers. You know what they say; "never proof-read your own material".

I use it for marketing with google ads and it's revolutionized work. I have to keep on top of it's generated search terms, I went through just over 1000 last week. it already has another 1500 for me now.

It's useful, but I really don't like the thought of it.
