This is very,very true! I have to stepdaughters both born and raised here in Central MI but one lives in Baltimore MD. Absolutely a terrible place that seems to have snobs crawl out of the woodwork and any white person from the Midwest is a hillbilly to them. I think the biggest thing I see in the East-coasters is a fear of outsiders and a fear of being away from their clics. I’ve asked her quite a few times in the last 30 years how she lost her Midwest common sense and bearings? No answer! LOL. Her biggest fear driving to visit is afraid the Michigan Militia will waylay them! This is a no-chitter by golly!
We make sure she gets a good dose of the Jesse Kelly radio show ever evening and she never leaves the room! LOL

The Eastern Shore is nothing like over the bridge. Night and day. If the Shore could secede it would lol. Over the bridge can have Salisbury and Cambridge… and we could throw in Pocomoke for good measure.

Went down to the Inter Harbor for 4th of July fireworks some years ago. Dang rats were running everywhere. Running between our legs and I watched several times rats running over baby/kids blankets. One year for the little grandkids I bought one of those huge pumpkins to take out to them for Halloween. I’m sure it weighed over100lbs and over 3’ wide. It was a big deal for the kids but on the 2nd night out on the front porch the family got to watch 2 black guys hauling the big arse pumpkin down the sidewalk! There’s no winning in a big city!

Baltimore is the only part of Maryland I know and that’s more than enough for me just like Deeetroit is to Michigan, whole different world!

We can annex Eastern Shore of VA and just call the new state The Shore or just New Delmarva.

Those folks on the other side of the bridge are nothing like the Eastern Shore.
