Yesterday I dug out an old steel wheel plow to get in working order. I'm not going to use it for it's purpose but set it up on blocks to entrance at ranch. I hate to see history and the past disappear.

Wish it could talk. This was homesteaded land a lot of history for the early first sod busters, that tired their luck here to make a living. Tough times how they lived in a few old shacks they had in the hills.

Probably glad it can't talk, lots of curse words were used around it at every rock

That's in great shape yet, love stuff like that. The Amish here still use'em.

See a lot of stuff like that around here in grown up areas. Says somerhing about the steel back then . Stuff made now days would of rusted to pieces already.

I will see if there a name on it when I goo back out to the ranch. I will pull it out of there and back up to the shop next week. It still lifts up and down but was buried in about 16 inches deep.

Update>> It is an IHC and with the number I found it was called The Little Wonder. Steel wheeled mostly built from 1921 t0 1925.

I pulled it home from the sticks to the old homestead ranch house and will work on it there. Took me a little while to figure out how to get the axle gear in neutral mood to rode it slowly home.
