Something I have not done in decades but I just did today. Why when I have the cash in my pocket?

That answer is because of the on what. I put a silincer co 36 m on lay away because if the hearing protection act passes in Trumps bill Silincers will be just like buying a gun and no tax stamp or wait other than on the insta check. But if that passes suppressors will quickly sell out for months to a year.

So not wanting to wast 200 on tax stamp I may not need in a month and not wanting to have everything sold out and not be able to get what I want if it passes I put one on lay away. Now it can sit at the shop spoken for and I don't have ro worry about them selling out if Trumps bill passes. if it does not I Wil just pay it off and send in my fourm 4 in a month or so and should have it back approved befor deer season. This one will live on my 15 year olds cva wolf 350 legend..
Planning on doing the same on a few .22lr cans and another .30 when I decide what I want.

I had forgotten all about lay a way and figured it was a thing of the past and surely never thought a gun shop would offer it on suppressors. But was told it would be a good way to do what I was wanting waiting out the Hearing protection act passing or not.

I thought i would share maybe Someone else would want to look into this or similar route of geting suppressors they want spoken for before the mad rush makes what you want hard to get if The bill passes

That has been debated. From what I read yes if it's not changed. Then again simple to understand language often is to much for the government to understand things like shall not be infringed, so.....
