lol. It came with a spark screen, but nothing I own has one. If I light anything other than occasionally moss on fire in SE Alaska I’ve done something terribly wrong lol. We get over 100 inches of rainfall every year so even the forest circus doesn’t care about spark screens on their ground

What is the ratio of Stihl to Husqvarna users in your area? Anybody use anything else?

AK can hold his own ground. If you guys on here want to understand what he's really doing here's a link to a tree faller in BC that posts videos on Youtube routinely. You'll see the reason for big, light saws.

Yes, Bjarne works with timber and ground very much the same as what we have (we’re not that far apart after all)

What most fail to understand is how much smoother Premium saws are. All the anti vibe, grips that fit, intuitive controls, etc, really makes a huge difference when your running saws all day, everyday.

Echo, etc, may make good saws but if they cause 10% more wrist fatigue it's not worth the savings to full time users. Stihl is the Cadillac of Saws, they run smooth.

Nice, run it like hard and hopefully it holds up.

That’s cute. Where I’m at a 42” bar leaves something to be desired, so whatever that is would be like digging my own grave with a teaspoon

lol…..but it’s a Sugi bar, that’ll make up for it.
The 5 series husky’s sure do have a good power to weight ratio. Mines still strong…..knock on wood…..but I’m not putting the miles on that you are either.
First thing I do when I get a new saw (or any small piece of equipment) is removal of the spark arrester.

Wind Blew, crap flew, out came the line crew
