They have me in their system multiple times I turn down the magazines but get them anyway the same with the gifts. I renew for several years at a time no telling when it expires they overlap so much like others they don’t call me by my request they honor that.

Remember a time in the late 80's being layed off from work without any extra $$ to spend....The NRA called, and I explained my situation having trouble making ends meet, and the spokeswoman feigned understanding.

A couple minutes later into the conversation she asked.... "Can you give just a little money"?....That right there pizzed me off so bad they never saw another dime from me, and they never will.

Not sure when or if they ever had actual members of the NRA calling members for donations, the contracted out to third party call centers to solicit for donations.

For years now, in most public schools, the left has been teaching American children to be terrified of guns. Eventually enough Americans will be scared that we will lose our rights unless we use them. Thou shall not suffer a liberal to teach.

Keith

In our area, more and more kids are getting involved in trapping shooting competition in the schools. Our sportsmen's club finances shooting supplies for five different high schools. I teach firearms training and many of the kids take the class so they can qualify to join the trap teams which is a requirement. There are other clubs in MN doing the same thing we are. But, it's pretty much a rural MN thing. The liberal Twin Cities probably frown on this practice. Go figure.

Wife: That's the 4th time you've gone back for dessert, doesn't that embarrass you? Me: No, I keep telling them it's for you.

Here is a link that shows the NRA's commitment to safety and education over the last decades,

Yup. That person was a paid contractor doing their job.

They are all trying to take our guns. All of them think only the police and government should have guns.
Both parties.
No matter what they say.

THE MAIN PROBLEM HAS ALWAYS BEEN THIS.....HUNTERS AND TRAPPERS WILL FIND ANY EXCUSE NOT TO CONTRIBUTE TO A CAUSE/ENTITY THAT WORKS TO ENSURE THAT THEIR ACTIVITY CONTINUES. not all but most fit this description. Bunch of freeloaders!

No need to yell.

I agree. A small minority of us, carry the water for everyone else.

NRA hierarchy is nothing more than a collection of money grubbing swindlers.

I was wondering when the NRA bashing would start.

Patron life member .... Still get their fundraising promotions including their Golden Eagle promotions. Still not convinced that they have righted the ship yet. But I did see in their magazine that they did join a lawsuit. In the past history, they have done more to compromise gun owners rights than protect them, many other organizations are doing more and better; that's where my money is going these days!

I believe in gun control! I use both hands and keep my finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.

My rifle and pistol club went up on dues and dropped the requirement for members to be an NRA member. I thought it was an insurance requirement, but maybe not,

OR some of us are not blind followers and can clearly see when an organization is not serving what they are selling. Others keep sending them money and either make excuses for them or chose to be blissfully ignorant.

I FINALLY thought they were on track supporting the Hearing protection act and had life memberships in my cart for everyone in my immediate family. BUT that was a lot to spend and decided to discuss it with my wife first in the morning. Well that was the same morning they came out in support of the bump stock ban. So seing they were back to the same play book once again sell out in the name of compromise. I sent money to GOA instead. But funds are going to fud. Would rather be enablers and make excuses like battered women than Call it how it is and address the problems.

I emailed and called them leting them know what I thought and why they just lost out on 5 lifetime memberships. They don't care. Plenty of people keep sending them money

Any excuse, just like I said. Who do you donate to?
