Just curious my grandparents lived there most of their life, my dad was born there

I'm about 15 minutes north of Meadville.

Hometown to the famous tool, channel locks.

During and after college in SUNY Fredonia me and my friends would drive down to Meadville to check out concerts. Lots of new up and coming bands would play in that town

I live 1 hr south of Meadville, Pa. in New Castle, Pa. been up there many times the PA trapping convention is being held next year 2026 at the fairgrounds.

And I'm about 15 miles below Meadville.

Then there's me. 30 minutes north of Meadville.

The liberal actress Sharon Stone was born in Meadville and attended Edinboro University but didn't graduate from that school. Stone's father was a Tool and Die worker maybe working at the same company Turtledale mentioned.

I’m about 10 miles west on Meadville. I grew up on the outskirts of Meadville and went to Meadville High School. I workin meadville so in town usually multiple times a day!

I just bought a big vice made in meadville pa. Its a beauty!

The reason I asked was I was curious on what Leslie Rd looked like today

And if my grandparents store was still around in the downtown

French's Appliances swas a mainstay in Meadville for like 50 years

There's a Fullerton's and a Flick's TV and Appliance, but no French's that I know of. Leslie Rd is still nice, well kept homes and the County fairgrounds. I go by a few times a week taking the kids to soccer.
