Hoping T-man can offer up some recommendations for a quality pack basket (wood).

Whatever you decide on, get the next size bigger. Tomorrow I'll try to take a picture of mine. Mines Xtra large. Last one wasn't and I said for years when I get another I'll get a BIGGER one

Pack baskets are great but not a smart thing to use if you trap in areas that are populated. Nothing screams "trapper" like a pack basket leading to disturbance or theft of traps.
I use a 6 gallon pail, not because I catch more stuff than jalstat but because at my age is is a better aid in standing back up!

I like my Loring pack basket. Pretty much indestructible.
