Our neighbor took a picture of a doe on our pier at the lake at 8:00, this morning. She said it left when the next door neighbor walked out on theirs. I have seen them on security cameras crossing the yard, but it was a shocker to see her standing on the pier.
I bet she wants a boat ride to feel the wind in her ears! Haha

This one came down the Cattaraugus Crick and decided to swing behind the boats and cross. About 150 yards to other side

I assume that is a white tail Turtledale I was surprised 25 yrs ago to find out mule deer ar amazing swimmers.
We inadvertently hopped one off a point @ Flaiming Gorge Reservoir and it swam across that huge body of water like it did that everyday.

I was about 12-13 when I took a picture of deer swimming in Lake Michigan from Detroit island to Plum island 3 doe just east of the Ferry

they were a little hard to make out in the picture , it was black and white , I was in a black and white photography class in 7th and 8th grade.

3rd week of November we were on our way home from deer camp.

it is a bout a 2 1/2 mile swim from one to the other.
here is a map because I don't know where the picture is right now.
