I was there on Thursday with my daughter and two of my grandchildren. This year I remembered to take my camera, but I mostly forgot to use it, lol. It was a great show, 4 buildings of vendors and lots of tailgaters.

This was the ice cream line, shortly after I took the picture the line really got long as it got pretty hot.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

For those of you that attended, how was the turn out? When I lived in PA I attended most of them. It was the second biggest convention in the Country only second to the NTA convention.

I remember a lot of vendors closing up shop by 1 or 2PM on Saturday

A lot of outdoor 3 day tailgaters including myself bolted Friday about 4pm as rain was forecasted, I always stayed til 12noon Saturday. Based on my observations, attendance was lighter than previous years.

Friends & I tailgated. Sales better than expected. We had a lot of stuff to sell.
Pa. is always a great show. Was good to see some of you folks.
Bruce T. hung with us for the most part. Good times.

Good to see that at least some people showed up for a visit to the PTA convention I join the PTA as a life time member more than 30 years ago It was one of the smartest decisions I ever made I was told once by a prominent member of this forum that the state of PA ha the largest number of trappers in the entre US His remark was that he doeattending their convention because they have a very large trapper association just getting the Trapper and Predator Caller magazine all them years was worth my cost to join as a liftime member An d the amount information and knowledge have more than paid the dues to be a lifetime member PA has in my opinion one of the best trappers associations in the U S Their members do an excellent job of promoting trapping with their educational programs And their dedication to passing the tradition of trapping to all that wanting to learn tells you that it is a labor of love for them The founders of the PTA are thought of as some of the all time greats And they earned that recognition We must always remember that the present days members may need a kick in the butt sometimes and later may need a pat on the shoulders and a very personal thank you for a job well done Even at my age and that is no small number I find that the PTA has much to teach any one that is wiling to learn
