Just get a roll of snare wire and hang a bunch of em. I get all mine in 120s but snares would be waaay cheaper. Wind Blew, crap flew, out came the line crew

Shakeyjake trapper Joined: Jun 2022 Manitoba	Make sure you got the right size loop for squirrels. I made them just like that but made the eye by hand when I was a kid. But I never set one snare, you’ll get lots of misses. I’d hang 20 or 30. A 2x6 board across 2 trees where the old folks would hang there geese from at the shack is where I got most. 4 or 5 snares across the top with some peanut butter in a couple spots worked. The other snares like in your pic is a whole different ball game. Here’s how I do it now…..I just like using steel….lol Last edited by Shakeyjake; 06/17/25 09:48 AM.
