Never met him, but saw him at a tiny show up here a few years ago. He's not his daddy, but he's not bad.

I do remember him not being awful tall.

Saw Waylon play in maybe '99. He was old and broken down, but still a legend.

Best of the best country. And gone too soon.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Waylon Jennings was the man! Go Shooter go.

I think Merle has 3 sons that all sing- none of them are half bad.

Music wise Hank Jr should have got clipped early in life LOL

Anyone who doesn't recognize Waylon as one of the greatest ever has not been paying attention

I had heard a few nights ago on wsm late night, that it was Bobby bare who helped Waylon get to the right people.if it wasn’t for Bobby bare, country music would have probably had a different story.
Most people don’t even know that Waylon was Johnny cash’s guitar man for awhile too , ,not just roommates.when Luther Perkins died in a house fire. Not to be confused with Carl Perkins who also played for Johnny. Waylon never gets his name mentioned whenever the questions come up of who were some of the best guitar players ever. Waylon was very good.
That’s why you always hear that signature sound.. the best guys always did.
You always knew a Waylon song, a Johnny song, a Merle haggard song, because they had signature sounds,,,
It all sounds the same now… maybe it’s because I’m old,,, I dunno,,, but I miss country music when it was country music.

Another good one. His collaboration efforts were never wasted either.

Also played bass for Buddy Holly, and was supposed to be on the plane that crashed and killed him. Waylon gave up his seat on the plane to one of the band members that had the flu.
