Do you know that Iran was the freest country in the ME ?
In the early 1970's they were much the same as our country.
Then ( much like Obama trying to destroy our country from within ) Ayatollah Khomeini pulled a coup and took charge.
No freedoms allowed, you only had one religion ISLAM ! And radical to boot!
The country was turned into nothing but slaves to the Ayatollah Khomeini rules.
He died in 1989 , and replaced by Ayatollah Khamenei, who was a former friend and confidant of Khomeini.
Total control of the people.
Now if the stories are correct , 80% of the people want this government ( USA ) to help them get their country back.
