Anybody have an update? Went by Actor on here and last info was that he lost his house to some scam artist and only had a few days to vacate. Lived in Newark Ohio.

Looks like he's not been on here since April. I hope he's ok, I always enjoyed his post.

…. He’s been in a bind on here before and that came out alright… could be this one turns out the same

His last posts were that he was conned into selling his house by a woman and was going to the airport to meet her. She never showed but got all his money. He was trying to get the law involved and then everything's been quiet. Someone on here had some personal contact. That's all I remember.

Keith C helped him a few years back and tried to help him get housing back in April too. Hopefully Keith will chime in.

He was on Face Book , last I knew, he found a place in West Virginia .
That was earlier this year.

Jybyrd63 posted a very nasty reply to Garry's post asking for help. Paul banned him for it. I think Garry got embarrassed and hurt,because he hasn't posted since. I talked to him shortly after. He had not followed up with the leads I gave him. He thought someone he knew was going to help him. I have not talked to him since. I hope he's doing okay.

Hung around living in his truck for a couple weeks, then just disappeared.

Yep, I'm upset about it, I should have kept in contact with him regularly. Not all of us will live out our twilight years with loving families surrounding and supporting us. I pray Garry is fine.

Around here, a lot of good decent old timers just went for a long walk in the woods when they got there. They were too good hearted to ask for help, but needed it.

We helped Gerry several years ago when he was broke back then he was having a hard time making end meet. I have to admit the second go around kind of caught me flat footed but I feel for the guy.
