I always used to run pro safety falling dawgs on my saws, I started getting them from westcoast saws a few years ago, I like theirs (full disclosure I have broken a few of them, but they’ve always sent me new ones for free). Somebody mentioned these ones from iron fox fabrication in Redding, CA so I decided to order a set. They’re powder coated and they seem fairly stout, but I’m not sure if I’m going to like them yet. I suppose I’ll find out and share my findings [Linked Image]

I have several of the west coast saw dogs and really like them so far. Worked with some pro fallers up in British Columbia a few years back and they really turned me onto them. Plus they showed me how they tricked out their saws. Those new ones you have look like they would pivot nicely when doing your cuts

Thats what I’ve been running since gordy opened up shop, but a guy I work with said he liked these ones, so i figured I would try them. I just finished a unit this morning and packed my stuff out, so I’ll probably bolt them onto the 500i that was in there. Or wait for the newest 661 I have coming in the mail, depends if I get bored later today or if I forget entirely until I open that new saw and look at the sad factory dawgs lol
