Parked next to this guy waiting on the lock . It's a jack up boat but think this is that biggest one I've seen that's not some.kinda oil rig. Most of the ones I've seen are about 1/4 this size :crazy[Linked Image]

Unless sits something else but Evey boat I've seen like this is a jack up. Those pole drop to the bottom and the whole boat and platform ride up and down it out of the water ... Pretty crazy engineering

we see barges like that around here , 4 poles but not near that high , they use them to hold on the bottom and keep the barge from tipping while running a track hoe on the barge for dredging

a long arm track hoe when they need to move rock on the bottoms and set stone for break walls


America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

That's cool. I've never seen anything like that. It would be useful in deep water and muck to have basically peers you can drive down for stability.
