sweet
I love that those come ready for an optic rail

https://www.brownells.com/optics/rings-mounts/scope-bases/super-redhawk-mount/

mount a dot on that and you can extend the ranges out to 100 yards quite well and still be wicked fast in close

it would be way too Wisconsin if you bought the tractor and the gun at the same place.

like beer and an outboard. which I did this year.

Very nice addition to the collection, Patrice . Looks like a comfy grip.

Now get you a couple of speed loaders for it. Instant and ready to go in case you need more ammo.

Ruger is a good model. Have fun !

Not a bad idea, Pete! Zim has been suggesting that as well. It's heavy, of course, but really easy to shoot accurately. Nice trigger. I cannot wait to shoot some more. Thanks for the link. I'll be checking that out. Hey - congratulations on the beer/outboard combo!

I bought the gun from Village Gunsmith who comes to my rendezvous at the beginning of June. I try to buy a gun from them each year. I can't believe I just got it out today. Busy June!

Turtledale and Gator Foot, you are so right. We are having waaaaay too much fun!

Bob, definitely both hands! I will work on over the shoulder with a mirror at a later date.

Nice point, Sharon!

Patrice I talked to him at your Rondy last year , him and his wife seem like good people.

I found a young guy that reminds me a bit of the Village Gunsmith . young guy named Jacob who has a little gun shop I dropped into while on vacation, a guy was in there picking up a holster that Jacob had made and I liked the looks of that so he is making me a holster to my specs for the Super Blackhawk and if that turns out the way I like it will be the Redhawk next , my Redhawk isn't super like yours but it is 44mag.
I will put up some picks when I get it , which I told him no rush I wasn't going to get any shooting in for a while.

he had some paper patterns to give him a starting point then he traced my gun and made sure it was ejection rod back the same as his SBH my barrel is longer and it is hard to find holsters for the 7 1/2 guns
he texted me some questions the other day so it sounds like he is working on it

asked for 0 cant , hammer spur half inch below the top of belt , hammer strap with snap for retention , open bottom ,cover to the back edge of the trigger and I picked out the stain for the leather from a sample.

he seemed to just be getting started adding holsters to his business , it was his grandfathers gun shop and he passed away last year.

Nice P-shooter!
I'd think that 9.5 inch barell would balance that out nicely.

Now there is a bear killing hand canon. It appears Zim is treating you quite well.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Nice, Pete! I'm looking forward to seeing the photos of your holster. So Jacob and Caroline, who were at my rendezvous last year, just got married a week or so before my rendezvous this year. Jacob's parents, Tim and Janelle (?) own the shop in Kendall and they all work very hard. Tim is the seasoned gunsmith. Good people!

Thanks, Leftlane! It felt great to shoot. Zim asked me if it had much recoil and I realized there was none. Really nice to shoot.

The thought crossed my mind, 160!

He always treats me well, trapdog!

Thanks, Moosey!

Jalstat, I am hoping to do the same.

Lufkin! I will have to think about that... laugh

Nice, CT. That just might be next!
