I have that 44 mag in Colt Anaconda when it first came out many years ago, they stopped making them and was last year or the year before they started up with them again ! I love to shoot it, fantastic feel and balance !

Excellent shooter, my brother would not let me shoot it when we go out !

So last year I got him one for his Birthday, he cried when he opened it up thats loving a gun !! I was very happy for him as he can't afford these big outfits !

I’ve got one of the first issue Redhawks. No scope mounts! I’ve killed two bears with it. Always prayed I’d NEVER have to use it in a defensive situation.

I don't think any of the red hawks had a built in scope mount like the Super Red hawk the new ones on the Ruger web site don't show it

EGW makes a rial that replaces the rear sight on the Red Hawk and Black Hawk they also have plates that do the same but mount common pistol dots

Jacob texted me this afternoon he has it finished and sent a picture.

he is shipping it to me so I don't have it just yet but it looks very good.

here he is modeling it with his SBH his has a 5 1/2 inch barrel and mine is 2 inches longer but they are identical from the ejector rod back as it is the same part for both.

Jacob is at Yellow River Trading Company in Spooner it is across the street from the ice arena the other corner has a decent parking lot for the ice arena where you can park your truck and trailer if you happen to have the boat with as I did.

you could maybe use the Ruger rings if you went Ultra Dot , Ultradots are tube style dots very time proven on magnum revolvers , they look similar to what MNMan has on his Super Red Hawk

Try loading up a bunch of 300 grain Sierras with a stiff load of Lil Gun powder. Wowzers. Hang on.

I have a US Arms revolver w/ 7 1/2” barrel in .44 mag. Taken lots of deer and 3-4 elk with it. Great caliber imo.
