Which are the best brands and type? I.E. Turtle wax, liquid glass, mother's, etc. Do you prefer paste, liquid, spray on or wax added to water?
Do certain waxes perform better in hot/ humid regions vs northern cold / salty environments?

Blue coral is a favorite if not turtle wax.

What's the warranty on that? When you leave the car wash or first 100 hundred miles? LOL. Been there did that when in a pinch. Sometimes it smells nice and other times it doesn't.

I use this inside and out, dash display, everything. it goes on easily with a microfiber towel. Then wipe it off with a dry microfiber towel in a couple minutes when it's dry. I can do a full-size truck with a topper in 20 minutes. Fantastic shine too. It even works on flat black to clean it. I use it on cars, trucks, boats, anything.

I use this:
https://www.amazon.com/Collinite-In...97568341354711-B00T70R930-&hvexpln=0

Made by a company where I grew up. Semi liquid. Easy on, easy off. They used to recommend it for boat hulls, but you can put it on anything or over any other wax. Lasts a long time.

SGT. is it a newer vehicle? I hand wax with McGuire’s gold twice a year, and use Chemical Guys spray wax after every wash.

Nah, it's a 12 year old suv with a nice paint job still. Kept it looking good all these years. Just want to try something new.
No rust, couple of minor dings, kept covered. Has a new engine. Dealer installed. Engine had a recall. So they put in a new one. So, want to keep it looking good inside and out.
Always had good results with liquid glass. But new better products are out there I'm sure.

Turtle wax in the paste can, holds up good here in Montana.
Try to wax every year, if not every other year for sure.

Let me sugar coat this

After buffing and polishing ( also known as paint correction)....the final step in my shop ..is 2 coats of Griots Garage Ceramic Wax ( spray ). .one coat ...then let dry inside ...then a second coat 18 hours later.

Just detailed a black 2007 Corvette with that process...

Customer was speechless when he picked it up.

A lot of hours behind the buffing wheel...not something you bang out in 2-3 hours
