The few I know are good people, mostly just kids with adaptation issues reacting to the overpopulation stress of big cities. I've sold plenty of animal derivatives to furries. A couple I know are serious feather and skull collectors. Moreover artificial fur is a "gateway drug" and many eventually switch to the real thing. Good customers.
Also, they do not equal pedos and the majority of pedos I've encountered (including those involved in big international pedorings), were/are very well-integrated into society and look like very regular, proper, conservative, self-righteous people. Teachers and professors, journalists, local politicians, religious activists, etc. Someone who'd point fingers at furries to draw attention away from themselves.
Yep, large majority of them are weirdos, but harmless but there's outliers like every community. Actually lot of really far right types in the furry community,like neo Nazis and stuff . But anyhow yeah they have conventions and stuff like cosplayers and anime nerds do

Furbies were a toy that came out in the late nineties, that "learned" to speak by recording conversation they heard and playing it back mixed with gibberish, when set off by motion. My girlfriend at the time had a much younger sister, around 15, who had a furbie. I tried to talk my girlfriend into teaching the furbie to say scary stuff like "I'm going to eat you.", "I'm going to steal your soul." and "I'm going to murder you in your sleep.". I thought it would be funny and still think so.
Furries are the people who dress up like and act like animals.

Another direct example of what happens when a society does not have the power to lock up insane people. They then are normalized for the children to view as “normal”…. Another step towards societal collapse.

The furries in the video, who weren't in costume, were all unattractive people and not physically fit. Because of their appearance, they probably find it hard to socialize, like normal people. Being in costume makes it easier to interact socially, because people aren't put off by their appearance and much more importantly they aren't self conscious about their appearance.
As long as innocent people, such as children, aren't harmed by their activities, which in general seems to be the case, there's nothing wrong with what they are doing. It's just weird to most of us.
It would be better for them if they just came to the realization, that when interacting with others, there are much more important traits than physical appearance, such as intellect and character.

Women love dancing and when you are in charge of a ball with a four or five hundred people attending, women get the hots for you. I did very well with the nerdy ladies, some of whom were quite beautiful and all of which were fun. I like smart women. Stupid women, even if beautiful, are no good for a long term relationship. Beauty fades. Intellect and character last.

It's weird. But the average American would think trapping and skinning coyotes is weird. And that's just one example. God help them if they saw my ammo cabinets.

I wholeheartedly agree.
But when the weirdos say that I have to accept them as they are or I can't voice my disgust or suggest that they get help then a line has been crossed effecting my right to be weird in expecting proper and acceptable behavior in public.
When they force their way into my life and family and speak to my children against my wishes then more than a line has been crossed. I consider it an act of war and will respond accordingly.
And as General Jackson taught us once war is declared you unsheath the sword and throw away the sheath.

I haven't seen many furries runnin' around in these parts. The few that I have seen in the wild are teenaged kids that likely don't know the sound a belt makes when it's jerked from the belt loops.
My wife has a friend that's granddaughter likes to dress up as a furry, apparently she has autism and she likes the furry feel....but the other kids all make fun of her so I don't think too many "normal" kids are buying into it....
