Yeah, not sure why they don't consider the economics when producing pickups. I bought the most fuel efficient truck when I bought a year ago on yhe market. If any auto maker would make a 4x4 truck, stripped down, no computer, no power options, they wouldn't be able to keep'em on the lot. I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

blackoak trapper Joined: Nov 2007 southern Indiana	I had a 94 Toyota 4x4 truck that was the best truck ever for trapping. It had the 4 cylinder 22RE motor. It would go anywhere I pointed it. Never had any problems with it util rust ate the brake lines on it after ten years of never being washed. I parked it and before I could fix it a guy stopped by and offered me twice the amount it was worth. I wish now I would have kept it

Seldom trapper Joined: Mar 2007 Midland, MI.	In my neck of the woods, that’s strictly a bridge/culvert hopping ride. If that truck was used on my 2-tracks you’d need a come-along AND a high-lift jack within the first 1/2 mile of 2-track!!! When I worked for MSU the college kids, using a truck not unlike yours were calling me all hours of the day & night to come pull them out. I told them just as I’ve told you and learn to corduroy which they did. They, as most young men still went where they’d get stuck BUT they could get themselves out again! Tailhunter trapper T Joined: Mar 2018 NC	You’d be surprised at where a two wheeled drive toyota can go. Put a set of mud tires on the back. Just know somebody who can get to you and pull you out when you slide off into some deep skidder tracks.
