Instead I'll take some venison in and have some different sticks and summer sausage made for about $6 bucks a pound. I've had jack links and some old trapper jerky before that was good but I don't eat a lot of it. www.Edgewoodlocker.com Edgewood IA This is where I take my venison. They do a pretty good job IMO.

If you've got a Kwik Trip near you get the app on your phone, if you don't have it you're leaving a lot of free money on the counter. I've been in a Buc-ee's once in Alabama. I wasn't impressed. They're a big store but I didn't see any deals there. I'm not really sure what they're trying to sell. They've got a lot of stuff but it really doesn't make sense to me. My wife did get some chocolate covered macadamia nuts and some coffee flavored candy and that was it. If I wanted to strap a grill to the rental car or a water tank for livestock I could've but I'll probably just get it up here at Farm and Fleet or the local hardware store instead. The Kwik Stars popping up here are the same as the Kwik Trips, just a different name for some reason. They are much nicer than the other chains, for sure.

We have those and RaceTrack as the two main competitors. Buc-ees are expanding into the southeast, and currently, Georgia has four more breaking ground. Currently they are more of a novelty tourist destination than what I'd call a regular gas station. Other than stopping for low price loss leader gas on road trips I'd rather not set foot in one as I hate tourist traps and crowds. But road trips almost always mean family so I'm sitting in the car getting PO'ed and further behind schedule waiting on the family to get out of there.

bblwi trapper B Joined: Dec 2006 East-Central Wisconsin	Mostly Kwik Trip in our area. There are almost 900 in 6 states, so are not national as of yet, but they have high density in the upper Midwest. The firm was started by two brothers that still own their famlly farm and were ag grads from the UW. They sold their interest in the stores several years ago. They are well into their higher 80s now. They belonged to the same Ag Fraturnity that I belonged to, so I got to know them and their cousins and families. Bryce

Plus if there is no store, there won't be an inconsiderate (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) in front of me that can't be bothered to move their rig away from the gas pump after they are done pumping gas and before they go in to pay and spend twenty minutes shopping.

Cheever trapper C Joined: Feb 2021 WI	Stoped a kwick trip one night 10 years ago, went in to pay for fuel. They didn't like the way I was walking and called the sheriff's dept on me. Deputy was by my truck when I got out of store. I was not driving just had heart surgery two weeks before. Have not stopped at one since. Must have had deputy Dog working there.
