Guess I need to ask what other methods are recommended. I know of one that I have seen used and a rumor of another but I know a guy who lost the whole seat of his insulated coveralls because he got too close. Not sure if there's another method.

Nice pics Lugnut.....I miss catching reds and grays. I did see a nice red this am carrying off a roadkill heading to a neighborhood.
They stick close to patio decks and storage sheds around here....stay cool underneath.
Savell, I like the way you think about selling fur to taxidermy guys....easy peasy. I got a little
market for the very best coyotes, coons and skunks from the fur season.
