Y’all got the reds up there … coyote have about killed all ours off

Coyotes and other factors have reduced the red population somewhat in my area. But, for whatever reasons, the coyote population never really expanded beyond relatively low numbers.

They've been here for at least twenty years but I don't even catch one a season on my fox line. And didn't catch many when I used to make dedicated sets for them back when I thought they were going to wipe out my reds.

… good deal lugnut…. Even our grays have taken a big hit from the coyote down here…. Most just hang around deer feeders with the coon anymore … half the time when you do catch one a coyote kills it

Lugnut. 40 yrs ago we had a decent red fox population. Then the yotes moved in . Now zero red fox. Count your blessings.
