Fruit has a white pit about the size of a large pea, and the fruit is the size of a very small cherry.
The leaves look like Chinese Elm leaf.

After Googling it, it appears it's wild cherry.

Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

Those are Nanking cherries. I bought 20 each, of 3 types of the white Nanking cherries last year and sold them.

Thanks guys, I'm sure someone planted them on game and fish ground. There next to a drain. There's also white, red, and black currants ,
Yellow roses, and asparagus.

I imagine Keith would have some good advice on propagation.

Nanking cherries are mostly not self fertile, so there should be some other trees nearby. Take cuttings from several different trees so you can get the pollination you need for fruit. You can take semi hard wood cuttings this time of year, with about 3 to 5 leaf nodes. Strip off all the leaves, but the top 2. Dip the bottom of the cutting in a rooting hormone like auxin. Place the cutting in sand, fairly inert soil or pearlite. Tent over it with clear plastic and keep it moist. Place it indirect light. Take more cuttings than you want trees. Around 50% should root with this method. Bottom heat will help the cuttings root faster, but is not absolutely necessary. You should have decent roots in 4 to 5 weeks.

You can also just dry the seeds for a few days and cold stratify them in your refrigerator in damp peat moss for around 100 days and then plant them. You could also just plant the seeds in the ground and let them over winter.

My brother in law has them as a foundation hedge across the front of his house in KY. So I assume they must be pretty easy keepers.
