Pretty impressive. I tried skinning 1 once that I shot when I was deer hunting. I had a rope with me so I threw it up over a low branch and made an attempt when it was warm. I screwed around for 15 to 20 minutes and didn't even have the tail skinned out yet and had cut a couple holes in the hide. I said the heck with it as I didn't need maybe $10 bucks that bad. It had a softball sized hole in it already on the bullet exit side anyway. At least I took a fawn killer out.
They’re much, much faster than I when it comes to skinning a yote.
I did like the dude on the far left, bare hands, in Alberta, a major hotspot for a coyote born tapeworm that has been crossing over into humans that has been causing concern for Alberta doctors due to the provinces explosion in cases. The guy needs a hat reading “Berta” lol
I can’t seem to post the pic of him with his gold, silver & $ collection I took with my newer phone…..too many maggot pistols I guess. Just under 2 minutes used to be the challenge, now most are around the 2 minute mark with a few well under. This kid keeps improving. He was talking after supper to the fella beside me and he always thinking of ways to shave off a second here and there. The contestants each pick a card out of a deck, lowest card gets first pick on which dog he wants, next lowest picks next and so on. Some of them were really dried and some strong dudes were having difficulty hitting 2 minutes…..pretty slow…..lol.
I spent the entire weekend with Canadians,,,,,, they are ok,,,,,,…
Free beer provided by FHA during happy hour…….pretty brave, but it is Alberta. Were you there Vinke? There was a Robert from Idaho, big wolfer and buddies with Morley Smith who’s got 722 under his belt.
He was fast. Couldnt see his work, but man the rest of them have their yotes hanging way too low. Getting the back legs started is the always the slow part for me. Once the rear legs are free I can still peel them pretty fast.

There’s a couple better vids on the Canadian site that are focused right on him. They each set their gambrel at their desired height and I know what you mean. Garrets a gamer and a heck of a guide too. Always looking to shave off a second wherever he can.
