I know people that use a chin strap. They say it helps them.

I have one fitted by a dentist. It worked ok. Your jaw will be sore for awhile. I went back to a cpap with a nasal pillow mask.

I have very light apnea, so light I barely need cpap… I started my journey with a $900 custom built mouth piece. It didn’t work for me so I ended up on a machine. Mouth pieces work for some… I had to deal with pulmonologist and dentist to have mine made. Within a year they determined it wasn’t effective. $900 wasted.

Insurance wouldn’t cover very much of expense. That’s why my out of pocket was so high, do your research. Been on cpap 2yrs I swear I’ve gotten dependent on the machine. It sucks but now I absolutely can’t sleep well without it. It’s a blessing and a curse

I wasted several thousand on a Cpap. I toss and turn and end up with the hoses wrapped around my neck. The heck with it.

Life ain't supposed to be easy.

After about 20 years of CPAP use, I developed an allergy to the silicone in the masks. I found a cloth masks online and ordered it. Problem solved and I like it better than all the masks I have ever used. Wile likes it as well. Doesn’t blow on her neck.

Well Bob I'm not going to be much help , true at times I hate my CPAP mask and have popped the fasteners off and tossed it ha ha
I sleep in a chair instead of a bed recently but I'll try the bed again .

I losen the straps and adjust then for a lose fit then go to the other pair of straps and do the same . I hope this helps you !

You're friend along the snare line .

I tried the mouth tape, mouth piece, couldn't stand the mouth piece.
Used the mask for about three years, can't wear it now I feel like I'm suffocating.
Quit wearing the mask when I started sleeping in my recliner next to my wife.
She's unable to lay in bed after her stroke 3 years ago.
I tried a electric chin patch, I think it worked seven nights, then it quit working, POC
Wife says I snore, but much quieter in the chair, I don't think I stop breathing in the chair like I might in bed
