I buy that once in awhile. I'd just as soon have a box of fried chicken skin as that's my favorite part.

I had a room mate in college that we called "The Goat". He would eat anything. I made a pan of that and put it on the coffee table. I was going to wash my hands and happened to look back and the Goat was eyeballing it. I walked back and spit on each piece. When I came out of the bathroom he had just flipped them over and was just eating the back side of each piece.

Then you beat him with a stick?

My local Kroger turns out some fine fresh fried chicken daily. In fact I grabbed a piping hot 8 piece for $5.99 on Monday.
Had some for dinner, then lunch yesterday and today. Any leftovers will be added to jambalaya tonight!

Give me KFC original recipe every time. There's none better.

Banquet is wot mom cooked before the family went on a road trip when we were young.

we would stop an eat at a roadside rest along the way to where ever we was going.

haven't had it in yrs, looks like smaller portion sizes.

If you were a young man out on his own in the early 70's that was a staple of life along with dinty moore stew and hot dogs And probably never ate that scat again

One local supermarket makes great fried chicken, If I grab an 8 piece of dark, it won't make it home, lol, Not sure how you can get 3 meals out of it,

I used to buy a 50 piece box of thighs from a local grocery store. Toss that in the truck and haul my two youngest boy out in the desert for several days of coyote hunting. And surprisingly, we all still like fried chicken!

The only thing gay is men calling things gay, we women all know what that means, lol.

I fry my own chicken, it's not gay.

Back in the 1970's before the chicken wing craze I would buy tractor trailer loads of wings for mink feed for a penny a pound. One time they sent me a whole load of Banquet chicken by mistake. Ground it up and fed it to the bears in the zoo. Guys working for me snagged lots of boxes and took it home. For a week or so they spent more time in the bathroom than on the job!!! Even ran out the back of the bears like water.

We occasionally ate Banquet TV Dinners as children, mostly when my parents were going out to dinner. We were allowed to watch TV while we ate them, which we were never otherwise allowed to do. The aluminum tray was more interesting than the food. I can remember the feeling of jamming the nail of my right index finger into the bone of the tiny chicken thighs. The desserts were never very good. They usually had a bitter flavor and were probably cranberries.
