Sheepdog - I was just wondering about you today and praying for you brother. It seems all I hear about the flooding and Texas gets worse daily. I still know, God knew about it, allowed it, and lives will ultimately be changed for the good from all this tragedy. I do not know how yet, but I know very well who allows this and is not surprised. I believe all of us as fathers, should be thankful for our living children even more. I know I am and slowed down today and went out of my way to thank a father who had 4 young kids out fishing. The oldest was my sons age and I invited him out to hunt deer on our farm this year. Never met this man in my life but was thankful to see a father out there with his 4 kiddos trying to keep bait on their hooks. The older I get - the better it feels to slow down and help out others and offer what I can.
God is good and is always there waiting on us with open arms.
