Good morning fellow trappers. When I was growing up we had a product that came in 2 small plastic squeeze bottles. If you were to open them you couldn't smell a thing, but mix a drop of each together and viola, one would have instant realistic skunk scent. We would get a couple small cans with lids, put some cotton in them, and then add the scent. It worked great when calling, all we had to do was place the cans downwind & take the lids off to conceal our scent. When done, lids back on and move on to the next location. My question is this, I have looked hi & low for this product, but can't find it. Does anyone know if it's still available, or where I could find some?
Also a great way to prank someone, or so I heard cool

I seem to remember something about that....not enough brain cells left to help though. Some chemist on here will undoubtably chime in.

Never heard of it before but why not just use a couple drops of real essence.
I'll be interested to see what you're talking about. I hope someone can help.

Naw, it's the dry raw product or fresh bud that smells like skunk. I live next to a one acre marijuana farm.

It was called skunk screen. I would tie a cotton ball on the bottom of my bow. Add a drop of each. Cut it off when done. Don't know if it masked my scent or not but did not spook them any. Have not seen that stuff since the 70's.

The idea was odorless transportation to your spots so it did not stink up the vehicle, once mixed Gerald Stewart had broom wall hanging clips on his grille guard to clip the film canisters in to get to the next locations.

I think the stuff I bought in the early 90s was called Cover Scent??? Two bottle mix ....used it successfully in my predator calling ventures.
Johnny Stewart Co.advertised it

I always just used a few drops of pure quill at my stand.
