Been looking for an old singleshot 410 but at auctions they bring $300. Found this Yildiz made in Turkey online at Academy Sports but always out of stock. Was in Topeka over the weekend and there was one on the rack so it came home with me for $190 tax included. Shot it once and it did what it's spose to do. I'm happy. [Linked Image]

Anyone else curious about what's with the Turks and shotguns ? I swear 80% of low cost shot guns from traditional to tactical style are Turkish

I got one off those in 12g. Apparently a Turkish remake of a Bernelli that was was made in the 90s.

Good enough shooter, it's a thumper.
Paid $/110 out the door at Academy for it it in 2010 or so. I would have liked to of had it in .410 but with the price of 410 shells I figured I could just use 12gauge 7/8 loads.

I'm not recoil shy, BUT, BUT,,,,,,,,,,,,MY conojes aren't big enough to torch fof these off with any kind of a 12g 3incher in the chamber.
When I bough it home, went out to the shop and rummaged a 12g from the back if the loading tale, It was a 2 3/4 Federal Slug and casually shot ti out the shop door int; the garden. It was fierce. A super light shotgun.

They were comissioned to make them for different people, and at first turkish guns were absolute garbage. Now, with CNC's everything is so standardized it's tough to mess it up. there are still cheaper guns, and some guns manufacturers have better barrels like ruger, but for a pump action shotgun you can't go too wrong. I've got a 20 gauge SXP field hybrid that i love. I have a canuck sentry for around home that is 8+1 and has a ghost ring and light. perfect for night time coons prowling around.

This was $159 plus tax. Part of the 190 was a box of shells. Thus little gun kicks like a mule for a 410.
It also breaks open like this for storing and transporting. [Linked Image]

I bought CZ Drake 12 ga over and under that I think is quite a lot of gun for the money, around $600 Blued steel receiver, walnut stocks . I think the Turks got it going on with their shotguns
