Big Sam trapper B Joined: Aug 2012 Blackduck Minnesota	I've had bears show some interest in it. I still put some up when I establish a bait just to get more scent in the air. Some folks report a strong response, but my bears seem to just show more of a casual interest.

Macthediver trapper Joined: Dec 2006 La Crosse, WI	I have used it or other castor type lures when I start baits. I would have to dig threw more pictures than I care to. I do have a picture though of a bear with its nose right on the spot I put lure. It was on top of a snapped off tree about 4 ft tall just to side of bait pile. On another note I also pick a spot im not going to get myself into and put good shot of pure skunk quill. Can't say that it helps but doesn't seem to hurt. There are others here probably way more better bear baiter than me. Mac "Never Forget Which Way Is Up"
