I'd rather talk to a atheist any day over someone who professes God and doesn't even remotely live it in actions or communications.

It's no different when people talk about God, there are always people who challenge either as if it really makes much difference to either believer !

Probably more in the God debate about who's God is the right God when people start trying to use biblical quotes, then enter Muslims or Atheist's into the foray and you got many more tangents to go off !!

Some here get really offended it seems when these types of talks come up, I don't see why they get so riled if challenged about either, it won't ever change the game any if you are a believer of what ever, it certainly won't convince another if anger appears in my way of thought for sure, just don't seem right to have a discussion about such with anger involved !

I don't think I've ever seen an atheist post on Trapperman and I've never met one.

I've met some agnostics. They mostly just didn't care about religion. It was of no use to them.

Religions are interesting to me. I believe there is a God, but don't believe anyone really knows God's true nature.

I am happy for folks that get emotional strength and support from their belief in an all knowing, all powerful supreme being that created the universe and can fix everything if it/he/she just would. It's just not for me. That maybe is completly wrong, but I am willing to say "I don't know" in repsonse to questions about the great mysteries rather than fill in the answer with a supreme being. Sometimes, when bad things happen, it really hurts to not have something to turn to, but I try to stay true to my beliefs.

I find it strange that an all powerful, all knowing, supreme being that created the universe would need to be worshipped by an insignificant biological life form on one of billions of planets.

Have you counted billions of planets? How do you have that faith that there are other planets? Seen them? Seen 100? You have faith.....it is OK to admit life hurts at times. Sure does and I pray you truly begin to research Jesus as a man then and read about His life. Read other historical stories if you choose not to read the Bible.
I went through years such as you....I read, I prayed, I told God to prove Himself to me. I choose to believe, because I have seen, heard, lived enough experiences and know He is too good to not believe. This is for me, my personal experiences that led me to my faith in Jesus Christ.
