mine was an honest question. it seemed to me that about every time a religious thread was started, or a God topic was posted, the ones who don't believe felt the need to crap all over the thread. sure, they have the right (as long as Paul doesn't mind); but intellectually, it made no sense to me. see my Sasquatch analogy earlier in this very thread.

just curious why God seems to get under the atheists' skin so often.

You only see it because there are so many pro-God posts. If someone made an anti-God post how do you think that would go for them? lol

You ask why are Christians so preachy... well answer in our teachings we are to love everyone and want the best for them so we push for them to know jesus, because if they don't they will never feel the peace, love, and joy as we have..

However is this right, I don't belive so, preaching and pushing does more damage with pushing non believers away. Then help, honestly we should let Gods light shine as non believers see how we are
And when they ask why we are the way we are then we get to preach and share God's joy. I'm not a fan of pushy shove it down your throats Christians! And there are plenty of them,(doing gods work thinking this is the way to do so)However non believers are the same way, just seems like this day and age everyone wants go shove something down people's throats because they can and fits certain agendas. Not alot of people have an open mind anymore, and allowed others think how they wish, you guys prove this with politics on here. Because no one can say they are democrats.. As Christians all we can do is live our life the way christ wants to let his light show and pray that it reaches others to bring him with in someone else's life. Because as Christians we give ourselves too much credit to or power. We don't do the saving God does..

As non believers all they do is hope, that are not wrong when it all ends. It all goes both ways.

This is like saying that the vast majority of people who ever lived believed in a fictional character. You are welcome to think that way, but when most of the world's population believes in some form of God it has to make you wonder why. I think most people instinctively know that creation could not have just evolved without someone being behind it all to design all these complicated systems that we call science.

Exactly! If there was one running religion thread, aka the Wordle thread.... I doubt you'd ever hear a peep on it from the atheists. Most don't care what you do. But when there's 5-6 posts on the first page of the forum about religion, they get grumpy.
