There's an old expression about "If you throw a bucket of water at a fence, and it doesn't go through, it'll hold a Goat"!

Every kid needs a Dog and a Curmudgeon.

Remember Bowe Bergdahl, the traitor.

Beware! Jill Pudlewski, Ron Oates and Keven Begesse are liars and thiefs!

To me the amount of money spent on the high quality fences you need for goats may very well make the idea very costly or your may not have them browse near the acres you want them to. Goats prefer browse over grazing and that means a lot of your weeds you want controlled may get big enough before being browsed to have seed heads.

When I was in high school (and before) I had a milk goat. Nubian-Toggenburg cross. She produced an average of five quarts of milk a day. I kept her chained and moved the circle every day. Best milk ever. Made soft cheese form time to time.

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!
