[quote=Patrice]I hope Hrdtoflw has not been chased down by the yellow demons! Gary, if you're out there, let us

know how you're doing! I am good Patrice. I will check baits when I get home today. Yesterday, I saw no activity at the bait, but the ground nests we very busy! I really wanted this to work out, mainly for those nests that are hiding in the woods. I have two nests that I can watch for results, but I may need to use gasoline by tomorrow night. We are putting out stands on my new property on Monday, and I don’t want my help getting lit up by these little yellow beasts!

I am going with gasoline tomorrow. I just hope I can avoid any more of these suckers. I wanted to wipe them out before we went in the woods, due to my help that is coming this weekend. My son is coming to help, and he said he is not worried about them. He’s more concerned about me, due to the fact that I can’t move to fast. I ruptured my S1/l5 disk, and my surgery in not until Dec-1. Patrice, Cindi is on me like an old mama hen! Lol

I have not eliminated my yellow jacket problem yet. While there are significantly fewer flying about, there are still a fair number. I might have to give them another dose. I'd like to change up my bait to sugar water mixed with fipronil solution, since my hummingbird feeders seem to be their main attraction. But, I don't want to kill off some of the more beneficial bees that might be attracted.

I just we to one nest and put a bait a foot from their hole. They were sluggish with the cool temp. So I figure they will eat it, leave it alone, attack it, or attack me when I go to check! Lol It’s time to force the action, and tonight, out comes the gasoline!

Ok, I just went to do the deed with gas, a little before dark. I have not had time to monitor the nests, or baits today. Both nests seemed to be done for, before I put gas in the hole. So, now I have done in 3 nests that I know of, and hopefully any more in the area!

I hope so, Gary! Bucksnbears, it's really satisfying to see those yellow jackets in a trap, but it doesn't locate the nests or kill the queens. They're still nearby, creating new ones.

Pour about a half pint of gas down their hole at dark and light them up. No need to light it, just cover the hole so they can't escape. Takes out the whole nest.
