When he was on Comedy Central The Colbert Report, he was very funny. The ironic thing was that his schtick was to portray himself as a staunch conservative Republican, and he never deviated from that character. His intentions were far from pure. While he taught that he was savagely mocking republicans, he was actually speaking as republicans often do, just a little bit exaggerated. It backfired on him big-time. It got to the point that the DNC alerted all members of Congress to avoid being a guest on the show because he made them look stupid, as, of course, they are.

Kimmel is still the Man Show just in a suit now kind of like a polished turd.
Don't remember crying every time something that didn't effect him happened on the man show..
His old partner Adam never sold out like Jimmy did to get the suit now that woke is drying up Kimmel will have no place to go just like George Lopez when he turned on his base.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

In almost all time slots, Fox generates more viewers than ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSDNC and a few others combined. Fox has a monopoly on the right viewers. The rest are all to the left...so they have to split up what Fox gets among themselves. Saw one report that said Colbert show lost $40M per year. Costs money to produce that has to be offset by revenue from somewhere and with nobody watching, can't sell advertising. Networks on the left run by ideology. So until that changes, bleeding will continue.........a good thing. Love to see leftist pukes go down in flames.

Remember.......the time slot in question is basically same one as Johnny Carson ruled for years. Its a different breed of cat. To anyone who thinks Gutfeld is new.......here is a bit from over 15 years ago. They have eased up a bit.......but if anyone thinks Colbert or anyone can compete with this.......think again.

Fox gets all the boomers and older Gen X viewers. Most younger viewers arent watching fox.
But, but, but how will the millennials get their news? Back when he did the Colbert Report on Comedy Central, millennials were asked where they got their news. One would think ABC, CBS, CNN or NBC. It no! They got their news from the Colbert Report!

It was about even between the Colbert Report and John Sterward at 16 and 15% respectively. CNN and ABC had more millenial eyeballs.
