So you finished mowing the lawn, jumped in the truck and buggered off to Wyoming? I like it!….lol Pretty much. I looked at my calendar Thursday and didn't have anything going on for a week so I just took off. I hit the Cody gun show on the way out, spent a few days with a friend and then hit gun shops on the way home. We fished a few different, out of the way places and checked out some old gold mining towns. No agenda, no tourist stuff.
I have nothing clever to put here.

That’s the way to do it. I’m going to try and hit up Cody next time I’m in that direction, not sure if I’ll have time. Sorta planning on going to Montanas rendezvous, probably be a spur of the moment thing.

That last photo looks alot like hole in the wall country. I was thinking the last two pics looked like the south pass and red canyon area.. Dale, you are spot on! What was the deal with those log cabins? Those were mining cabins that were abandoned in the late 1800's. Looks like you found Fort Stambaugh by Atlantic City. I found a little beaver pond in that area. I lost one GOOD trout and saw another but never landed one there.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Should've humped a metal detector into that area, bet you would've found some interesting things around those cabins.
I stumbled onto one in Colorado on national Forest land and it had an old cook stove and bed in it, I figured it was a line shack . It was dug into a bank and they just had to build the front and roof with logs.
Found an old cow bell and branding iron nearby.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.
